About YSL Black Opium

Midnight espresso and raw vanilla. Black Opium is the first sip of coffee in a dark Parisian apartment — bitter, aromatic, electric. Pink pepper and pear crack the surface open, then jasmine and bitter almond pull you deeper. The base is pure indulgence: vanilla and patchouli fused with cashmere wood.

Hesitant but won over

I was worried it would be too sweet or cloying based on some reviews... but wow. The initial burst of vanilla and coffee is addictive, and the dry down is this warm, ambery skin scent that lasts for hours. Exceeded my expectations completely.
