A fragrance name tells you which scent to consider. The format tells you what you will receive. Before ordering, check who filled the container, the exact fragrance version, its volume and how you apply it.
Essentia independently rebottles its 2ml and 10ml spray formats. These are Essentia atomizers containing the listed fragrance, rather than original manufacturer miniature bottles. Selected full-bottle options appear separately on their product listings.
Compare the format, not just the size

Separate fragrance identity from packaging
The same scent name can appear on very different formats. A manufacturer miniature and an independent travel spray may contain a fragrance with the same name, while arriving in different packaging. The size or appearance of a container alone does not establish its origin.
Look for a clear statement of who supplied the smaller format. A photograph of a full retail bottle should not be your only guide when the option you are selecting is a rebottled spray. Read the selected variant label before adding it to your order.
Check the exact fragrance version
Copy the complete name, including Eau de Toilette, Eau de Parfum, Parfum or Extrait when stated. Matching a brand and scent name is not enough to establish that two listings offer the same version.
Manufacturers may describe different versions as distinct interpretations. Compare the exact listing and try the version you are considering, rather than assume another concentration will smell identical or perform for a fixed number of hours.
For example, the Essentia listings for Versace Eros EDT, Bleu de Chanel EDP and Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait name their respective versions. These examples identify the labels to check; they are not a ranking of fragrance quality.
Choose a format around your purpose
- For an initial test: a small spray can help you decide whether you want to explore the scent further.
- For carrying a familiar fragrance: compare the actual travel atomizer, capacity and refill arrangement.
- For collecting original packaging: check that the selected product is the manufacturer presentation you want.
- For exploring several scents: compare a set's named contents with your preferences; do not rely on a set name alone.
A smaller total purchase can suit your purpose even if its price per milliliter is higher. Packaging, portability and how much fragrance you actually want are separate parts of the decision.
